A Day At The Wing, San Francisco
This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending brunch at The Wing’s San Francisco location. Katie Hintz-Zambrano extended my best friend Adereni and I an invite. If you’re not familiar with Katie, Katie is a journalist and the Founder of Mother Mag. Katie is such an incredible woman, and I am so happy that we had the opportunity to spend time with her at this astonishing brunch. The Wing, a high-profile women’s only co-working space. The Wing has successfully launched several locations throughout New York, DC and its Los Angeles location are set to open any day now.
The Wings San Francisco location first opened its doors back in October of this year. Located in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district, the 8,000 square foot locations is so damn visually pleasing. The aesthetic, the comfort of the furniture and the incredible staff our experience so enjoyable. The Wing’s San Fran location offers a lot of the same amenities as its other locations, including a beauty room, a lactation room, showers, an all-women art gallery and an in-house cafe and bar with food and drinks prepared by local female chefs and bartenders.
I know you’re curious, what’s the cost of membership? I am glad you asked. Currently, members of The Wing pay a fee — $2,350 per year, or $215 per month — for access to both open and private work-spaces along with networking events and speaking engagements. It’s also great that for an additional $35 a month, you can purchase an all-access membership. The all-access membership plan enables you to work in all the locations in other states/countries including not yet open Seattle, London, Toronto and more. If you’ve ever wondered if a monthly subscription was worth the price tag, it is! I’ve never had a more incredible experience in a co-working environment. As stated, the staff were amazing, the space is to die for, but community is what stood out to me the most. Although we were there for what was a more private, intimate experience, the women that we connected with were amazing, warm and welcoming. It’s like heaven for women, especially those of us in creative fields who struggle connecting with other like-minded creatives. So, whether you’re in San Francisco or located near some of the existing locations, don’t wait, get your membership you won’t be disappointed. I am so looking forward to becoming a member at the top of the year. I hope that you all enjoy the images from the incredible space.
